Dar Al Fouad Hospital is proud to be the first hospital in Egypt and Africa and the 59th hospital worldwide to receive accreditation from the Joint Commission International (JCI). The JCI is a subsidiary of the most trusted name in accreditation – the Joint Commission (JC), formerly known as the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization (JCAHO).
The JCI sets uniform, achievable expectations for structure, process and outcomes for hospitals.
DAFH strives to provide services consistent with or exceeding JCI standards. JCI standards focus on areas that directly impact patient care including access to care, patient assessment, infection control, patient and family rights, and education. JCI standards also address facility management and safety, staff qualifications, quality control and improvement, organizational leadership, and information management.
JCI accreditation reflects our commitment to high quality, safe, affordable, health care.
